ABOUT

Meet Alexis Radun

Although I’m much more comfortable behind the camera than talking about myself, here’s a bit about your photographer:

I’m a Virginia native who, in 2018, packed my bags and moved 24 hours away to Texas, where I was a member of the collegiate livestock judging team at South Plains Junior College. As my time in Texas came to an end, I transferred to Oklahoma State University and received my degree in agricultural communications. Since graduating, I’ve embraced Oklahoma as my home. Attending college in the Midwest allowed me to participate in great internship and work programs, providing me the opportunities to photograph numerous champion backdrop and show ring images at prestigious shows across the nation, such as the American Royal, Aksarben, National Western Stock Show, World Pork Expo, Oklahoma Youth Expo, and over 10 state fairs.

In 2019, I established Alexis Radun Livestock Photos, combining my expertise in livestock judging, communications, and photography. This unique blend has helped me excel as a photographer, allowing me to capture livestock at shows, in the picture pen, or in the pasture from professional and impactful angles. Aside from the angles that sell, being behind the camera at shows has allowed me to tell countless authentic stories that last a lifetime—from the final touches in the chute to the tears flowing as the judge approaches, and the hugs shared with your biggest supporters outside the ring. There’s nothing I cherish more than capturing the emotions and the fast-paced energy of a show day.

Currently, my primary focus is cattle and portrait photography. In 2023, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Focus Marketing Group, where I travel across the nation photographing and videographing sale cattle, donor cows, and promotional bulls. As an FMG member, I also provide graphic design, social media management, and other marketing services to help agricultural outfits present themselves with a high level of professionalism. When I’m not in the picture pen or behind the computer, you can typically find me photographing seniors and livestock show portrait sessions. Livestock portraits allow me to capture the enduring bond between an exhibitor and their animal, showcase their hard earned banners and buckles, and freeze a cherished moment in time for years to come.

But that's enough about me now… I’d love to hear about you! Reach out at the contact tab above to discuss working with me for your photography needs.
